GETTING OLD

I was hospitalized last September. Maybe a problem to many, but it was really a blessing in disguised. I am now in control of my diabetes and hypertension.

The blessing of it all is seeing my eldest, Jann Fayel, how she cared for me. She accompanied me from the emergency room to my confinement. I am thankful to God that she got a Health Card from her company to which I am a beneficiary. At the end, we only paid excesses from our bill! Adding more from it is the benefit of buying my medicines for free for a month.

I am getting old I believe at 50. Raising my kids was a challenge and I saw how God helped me from beginning to the end of this life, I believe so! My kids are now kids anymore. They are in their youth. Three of them are now leading their respective Cell Groups. All four are serving the Lord through the church music ministry. I may not be a perfect father. Yet I believe with God's hand on me, I am victoriously coming through.

MAXIMUM TOLERANCE

The need to be patient is a must to every parent or else, parent may end up beating a child to death.

We must all understand that a child is a child. Meaning we can never put them in a level where they haven't gone to yet. Our task as parents is to mold them but not to expect them to do what an adult must do. Instead, accept the fact that they are kids who need our tender love and care.

In so doing, we must all learn how to do maximum tolerance.
